Binary power generation is a method of geothermal power generation that utilizes steam generated by heating a medium with a lower boiling point than water, such as ammonia or freon, using hot water when only relatively low pressure and temperature hot water can be obtained. This steam is then used to drive a turbine for electricity generation. For the transfer of hot water with high concentrations of sulfate ions and chloride ions, our 'FIE-type stainless steel pump', which is resistant to corrosion and has high durability, is used.
